In class we had to do some research into existing music magazines. I chose to analyse the front cover of: Top of the Pops. Here is what I found out from the magazine.

Music Genre: Pop

Appearance of artists and fans (boys): Converse, Skinny jeans, Era hats, Checked shirts

Appearance of artists and fans (girls): Boydcon dresses, Skinny jeans, High heels, Leggings, Logo tops, 

Hairstyle (girls): Long extensions

Hairstyle (boys): Flicked hair

Lifestyle and entertainment choices: Shopping, Parties, Cinema, Holidays, Spa days, Restaurants.. 

Musical influences: Justin Bieber, Pixie Lott, Taio Cruz, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry..

Appearance of artists and fans (boys): Hoodies, Baggy jeans, High-top trainers, Checked Shirts, Jumpers, Converse

Hairstyle (girls): Long extensions

Hairstyle (boys): Short, Mohicans

Lifestyle and entertainment choices: Shopping, Clubbing, Making music, Sex, Hosting, Parties, Holidays, Restruants...
